Marsha Sims
Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Marsha has a multi-disciplined business background and years of experience interfacing with scientists and their projects.  Experience includes:  Executive administrator at Jovion Corp. (3 yrs.), administrator and department secretary at Lockheed Palo Alto Research Laboratory (11 yrs.), Executive Editor at the Journal of Scientific Exploration (9 yrs.). administrator at Calif. Institute for Physics and Astrophysics (3 yrs.), administrator, graphic artist, and photographer at ManyOne Networks and Digital Universe Foundation     (7 yrs.), and music teacher of voice, piano, and guitar at her own company since 2009.

Hugo Trux
President, Treasurer and Chief Operations Officer

Since 1985, Mr. Trux  has been a principal with Trux Marketing/Management Solutions, LLC, strategizing, implementing, and consulting for programs and companies.  In the last several years he has been leading. managing and assisting technology-based start-up companies.  He also serves on boards and/or Advisory Boards of a few companies, and has sat on dozens of non-profit boards, often in leadership roles.   He has been recognized for his achievements and has published numerous articles in marketing and performance audit research.   Mr. Trux served three years of active duty with the U.S. Army, in military Intelligence.  He earned B.A. and M.A. degrees plus two years of doctoral-level course work from Ohio State University and has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Albert Abel
Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Abel has founded and directed several companies including KiON Corporation, CFC Technologies, Inc., and Commodore Environmental Services, a leader in innovative technologies for hazardous and toxic waste remediation). Mr. Abel has more than 30 years of experience creating and managing R&D programs, focusing principally on environmental remediation technology, advanced high temperature materials technology, silicon polymer technology and advanced alternative wiring technologies and electroless plating of polymer filaments. Mr. Abel has 21 issued U.S. patents.

Bernard Haisch
Executive Vice President and Chief Science Officer

Dr. Haisch is an astrophysicist with over 130 scientific publications. He was a scientific editor of the Astrophysical Journal and Principal Investigator on NASA research projects. Haisch did postdoctoral research at the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics, U. Colorado and the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands. He was also Staff Scientist at the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory; Deputy Director of the Center for Extreme Ultraviolet Astrophysics at U.C., Berkeley; and Visiting Scientist at the Max-Planck-Institut in Garching, Germany.

Garret Moddel
Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Moddel is Professor of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at the University of Colorado, where he leads a research group in quantum engineering of new thin-film metal devices for energy conversion. Dr. Moddel has 29 issued U.S. patents and more than 150 technical publications. In 2001, he founded and served as CEO of Phiar Corporation, a maker of ultra-high-speed metal-insulator electronics. Dr. Moddel was named the first CU Inventor of the Year in the Physical Sciences in 2002, and he is a fellow of the Optical Society of America.

George Hathaway
Scientific Advisor

He graduated from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto in 1974 and is a Registered Professional Engineer. As founder and principal of Hathaway Research International (HRI), he is responsible for scientific and engineering “hands-on” project management from concept to completion and is the chief designer with final oversight and accountability whilst managing and directing multiple projects simultaneously. He is a consultant on novel and exotic materials, energy production and propulsion concepts and is expert on experimental design, analysis, testing and technical drawing and report writing. George is also a machinist with considerable experience in all cutting, turning, milling, joining and fabrication operations and is an expert on scientific and engineering measurements and their misuse. He is also a reviewer for several scientific publications and author of the book “Mindbending: The Hutchison Files”.

Lee Katzman

Mr. Katzman is a business transactions lawyer with over 30 years experience guiding emerging high-technology companies as their legal counsel.
